Founded in 2012, Kinexon is focused on the development of precision localization and motion sensing solutions. We power the internet of things with smart data & analytics about the position, motion, and status of objects and people. Our solutions enable customers to optimize their processes & products in terms of quality, costs & time. Overall, this helps them to become better and more efficient.
As a full-stack company, we offer our customers the perfect synthesis of hardware, firmware, software, and service. Our portfolio includes two core elements: A sensor network technology for centimeter-accurate positioning and motions sensing. Moreover, it includes an analytics platform to transform the resulting amount of big data into unprecedented and valuable insights. Cutting-edge solution that is truly precise, scalable, and smart.
Our flexible solutions are used by renowned customers for various applications. For our products and services we have been awarded with a number of prestigious prizes – including awards from the European Space Agency, the European Commission and the State of Bavaria.
Digital factory, Industry 4.0, Cyber Physical Systems: The industrial internet of things is currently definitely one of the dominating global trends. But what is the expectation of people when they talk about the vision of the industrial internet of things?
They assume that in the future objects will interact fully automatically with each other, as if they were controlled by an invisible hand. This automation will boost the efficiency of production & logistics processes and make industrial environments really smart. However, we need to know two essential pieces of information to make this vision come true:
These two questions reveal that position & status data will be a key enabler for the industrial internet of things!
