MOTIVATION

THE KEY ROLE OF CONNECTIVITY, LOCATION CONTEXT AND REAL-TIME INTELLIGENCE

Digital factory, Industry 4.0, Cyber Physical Systems: The industrial internet of things is currently definitely one of the dominating global trends. But what is the expectation of people when they talk about the vision of the industrial internet of things?

They assume that in the future things will communicate and interact fully automatically with each other – as if they were controlled by an invisible hand. However, to make that vision come true, we need to know the exact location and status of the relevant objects within the supply chain. Moreover, we need to connect the things and enrich them by a new form of real-time intelligence that makes them interact in the fastest and smartest way.

This is what KINEXON stands for. We are the pioneer that provides these essential ingredients for the industrial IoT.
